STUDIO SISTER WEDDINGS - TERMS & CONDITIONS 

 

Terms and conditions of all bookings

 

 By sending your deposit you enter into a contract with Studio Sister and you agree to adhere to the following terms:

 

1.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. We can not secure your booking until a deposit is received. 

1.2 Deposits cover the cost of the trial and comes off the total amount due on the day. 

1.3 The minimum total for a single artist for our weddings is 4 people or the equivalent total for 4 people (bride plus 3 bridesmaids/guests) plus travel.

1.4 All prices are subject to travel expenses – this is calculated and given in all quotes. 

1.5 All parking costs incurred on the reserved date will be added to the bill, any parking costs or restrictions outside your home need to be made known in advance.

1.6 Any known allergies must be declared at the time of booking, this ensures ingredients can be checked against the artists products, if the artists/stylists’ products are not suitable for the client, then the client will have to provide some of their own products. If any of the bridal party are vegan, we would ask they supply their own products which we will be happy to use.

1.7 Trials can be booked in on Thursdays and Fridays all day with evening appointments available in our Wetherby studio. We will do our absolute utmost to schedule hair and makeup back to back on the same day but this is not guaranteed. 

1.8 Trials can be booked in 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.

1.9 On the day of the trial we will confirm all numbers and timings with a minimum of 4, from this date you can not deduct any party members off the final booking, if you do wish to change numbers the balance will remain the same. An additional party member may be added if time allows but please ask as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate. 

2.0 If you do not wish to proceed with the booking after the trial then you agree to notify Studio Sister within 48 hours of having the initial trial, failure to do so will mean the below policies apply, please read 1.1 of “Your cancellation rights” below.

2.1 If the Make-up Artist/Hair Stylist is unable to attend the wedding due to unforeseeable circumstances then a replacement Make-up Artist/Hair stylist will be provided.

 

Your Cancellation Rights:

1.0 If the deposit is paid, you have fourteen days from paying it to cancel your booking, cancellations must be made in writing via email. You will then be refunded the full amount within 30 days. If this fourteen days has passed or if the deposit has already been redeemed against the trial, then the cancellation rights are exempt in these circumstances and it is non refundable. 

 

1.1 If, for whatever your reason you wish to cancel your wedding booking the costs are as follows; 

•6 months or less before the wedding date - 50% of the total perspective fee will be owed.

•3 months or less before the wedding date - 100% of the total perspective balance will be owed.

 This should be written and sent via email. 

 

Side Note- Preparation for your trial:

• We kindly ask that before your trial you come with hair/skin well prepped.

• If you know you would like to tan for the wedding - please come with your skin as you would like so we can create your desired look in the trial.

• Please ensure you maintain skin well before your trial as you would for your wedding day. Exfoliate and moisturise so it’s in optimum condition.

• Please ensure hair is clean (double shampooed) and smooth dried with no heat tool applied. 

• Please send any wish images and ideas before the trial via email. 

• Please bring any accessories/ extensions for hair if you have them 

• Please allow up to four hours per trial (2hrs hair & 2hrs make up)

 

Please note all trials are held in our Wetherby Studio – we do not allow children, and we kindly ask you do not bring them to your trial. We also ask that as our studio is small with limited seating, no more than one other person comes to your trial with you.
